Psalm 27:7-14 | Genesis 48 | Matthew 17:1-13
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28
God has not left himself without a witness in doing good – giving you
rains from heaven and fruitful sea-sons, and filling you with food and
your hearts with joy. Acts 14:17
Creator God, you will not faint or grow weary of your people. Your love
is endless and your provisions are bountiful. We joyfully give you
thanks and praise for your goodness towards your whole creation. Amen.
Miracles and grace! Psalm 27:10, even though we are forsaken by our closest family, God receives us. Genesis 48:19, Ephraim would be greater than Manasseh, Joseph’s first born, as Jacob prophesied. Matthew 17:2, Jesus was transfigured and shone like the sun. The grace of God is unexplainable and awesome. We adhere to the tenets we believe to be right, when really, we can only feel in the darkness and do what we hope is right. God’s “right” is completely different from legal or fair “right”. Amen!
