I rejoice in your salvation. 1 Samuel 2:1 (NASB)

When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene. She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. Mark 16:9,10

Precious Lord, we rejoice with the angels and the disciples in the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died for our sins and was raised as King of kings. Amen.

  1. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done!

    The story of the birth of Moses reminds me that God uses unusual, astonishing and unexpected ways to accomplish exactly what he wants. I admire the bravery and faith of Moses’ mother. How miraculous that Moses could be nurtured by his own birth mother and yet raised among royalty. God is truly amazing; turning tragedy into blessing!

  2. Kathy, I love how you describe Moses being nurtured by his birth mother and at the same time raised among royalty. That’s how it is for us, too, with God. We are heirs of the kingdom!
