Lord God, we confess our weaknesses. We need your help to turn away from the idols we have created. May we always put our trust in you and worship you – the one true God. Amen.

When we are secure, happy, content, give praise and thanks! God is great and wonderous. When we are distraught, disappointed, hurt, give praise and thanks! God is great and wonderous. Know that God wants to bless us, and will work through us in all events.
