Psalm 31:10-20 | Exodus 6:13-7:24 | Matthew 20:1-16

Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble. Job 14:1 (NIV)

It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 1 Corinthians 15:43

Father God, help us follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus who was born, remained sinless and was raised in the power of your glory. Amen.

  1. WHAT?!? God are you crazy? Last is first? And what about the 10 plagues…..wasn’t there an easier way? The ways of the Lord are often confusing. At times, is seems they make no sense. However, in my heart I know different. God’s power is endless and his reign is over everything. His wisdom is often beyond human minds and comprehension. Father always knows best!

Maybe my confusion serves a purpose. When I think I have full understanding, I tend to take over….pushing forward. When I am confused, I can’t take over. I need to turn to God. Maybe confusion will help me be more humble!

  2. Is it will? The unwanted workers had the desire to work. They most likely would have been working, had they been invited. Our work as disciples is to continue inviting. Our reward is the kingdom, witnessed as grace in our lives, which can grow daily, like a dollar multiplying daily.
So, if Pharoah’s crew could change water to blood, why could/did they not reverse the miracle:)
