Revealing God, we know your intent is always to open yourself to us in every way imaginable. Help us to have the ears to hear and the eyes to see the truths that you are constantly laying out before us. Guide us to live in accordance with those truths. Amen.

Why do we wave palm branches? Matthew says they were spread on the ground like the cloaks of others:) Perhaps we should lay a path . . .
I’m sure it’s out of context, but as I hear it now, Mark 4:22 encourages us to be open with anything we are holding on to – secrets, vices, addictions. Let us open our hand and release them to our Father, so that in keeping our hand open, we may receive instead the blessings He wants to shower upon us. Amen!
